Compare Baxi Regular Boiler Features & Prices

Baxi regular boilers are designed for the everyday homeowner and guaranteed energy efficient. The boiler can heat your home easily, operating quietly and maintaining low carbon emissions. A regular boiler is a high-efficiency condensing boiler and should only be installed in conjunction with a utility store, expansion vessel and hot water cylinder.

The benefits of choosing a Baxi regular boiler

  • If you already have appropriate pipework in place, installation is easy and quick (and less expensive!)
  • They work particularly well if you suffer from low mains water pressure as water is supplied from a tank
  • A new replacement regular boiler from Baxi will offer higher efficiency ratings and therefore savings
  • If you have a higher demand for hot water than a combi can offer, storing it in a tank is ideal

A new, highly efficient boiler will save you money over the long term. Low running costs have a positive effect on your energy bills, especially as we are in an era of rising gas and energy prices. In addition to being environmentally friendly, a new boiler can also add value to your home.

Controlling your boiler

Controls are the part of your system that you can physically touch and are normally located on or next to the boiler. Some of them are very complex, whereas others are quite straightforward. The simpler controls include a manual thermostat, but other more complex controls include a programmer.

Boiler controls and radiators are one of the most important parts of your Baxi Home Heating and Hot Water System. They help you to save money on energy bills.

Baxi boiler controls come in three types and each type are compatible with different models of boiler. Moreover, these optional controls combine functionality such as the integrated programmer module, moisture meter and corrosion resistance among others.

The length of your Baxi boiler warranty will depend on the type and age of your boiler. The average is between 2-5 years. As standard, though, you can expect peace of mind for 5 -10 years.

To apply for a free boiler warranty, you will need to have your Baxi boiler fitted and commissioned by a Baxi accredited installer. You must also be registered with Baxi as a new customer.

Baxi boiler fault codes explained

All modern Baxi boilers use a smart control system that records fault codes whenever something goes wrong. This makes it much easier for your engineer to identify and fix the issue.

Some Baxi boilers will show a status code. The status code is usually a letter and number, such as "E1." Status codes are different from fault codes. The status code can indicate that your boiler is installing its software, or that there's a leak somewhere in the system.

The first step to fixing any boiler problem is knowing which fault code is appearing on the machine. Fortunately, most Baxi boilers use standard fault codes so that the meaning of each one is consistent across all makes and models. Check out our guide to Baxi boiler fault codes to help you troubleshoot your boiler or determine whether it's time to call your Baxi engineer.
